PM wants 2 million more property owners

Speaking at the Conservative Party Conference, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that he wants to create 2 million more home owners across the UK.

Key to his plans is to improve access to 5% deposit mortgages for first time buyers partly by through removing stress tests for mortgage applicants and replacing it with “a form of state guarantee” to lenders to de-risk the loans.
